This programme supports the leadership development of those within the school community who have responsibility for leading subjects, teaching with pastoral responsibilities, year team leaders, key stage coordinators or other aspects of the school's leadership structure.

Leadership is essentially the process of building and maintaining a sense of vision, culture and interpersonal relationships, with other people in leading and managing change, raising pupil achievement, sharing good practice and contributing to overall school improvement.

Developing people and nurturing talent is a key issue facing all types of organisations across different contexts. Within schools one of the most important ways in which school leaders contribute to teaching and learning is through their impact on the motivation, development and well-being of staff.

Course Outline




An experiential approach with a facilitative and invitational approach that affords you the opportunity in safe environment to reflect on your leadership style and approach and grow your competencies. Particpants will complete a reflective journal and have access to online resources and support. The course is -
