Safeguarding & Child Protection Refresher Training for Designated & Deputy Designated Teacher 2023 - 24 - Regional Online Session

AIMS:

• To enable DTs/DDTs to further their understanding of safeguarding and child protection issues in line with SBNI 4 year strategy, and updated DE guidance.
• To increase DTs/DDTs knowledge and skills in the application of relevant safeguarding and child protection legislation, policies and procedures by drawing on their experiences to date.

Learning:

• Revisit key aspects of your previous safeguarding and child protection training.​
• Consider recent trends and developments in safeguarding and child protection. ​
• Use practice examples to reflect on the Designated Teacher Role.

Participants will be invited by the Child Protection Support Service Team
