AIMS:
- To provide strategies to support language development in children with Down syndrome in the Early Years;
- To provide an understanding of the specific challenges children with Down syndrome face in learning to read;
- To provide strategies to begin to overcome these specific challenges;
- To introduce the Match/Select/Name approach to reading.
